I dunno if you got him, or if you saw what they did with him, but to try and explain, they made two torsos for him.
One that comes on the figure, which is regular, and a version that is rocky. It's basically an entire upper body with different heads and arms and all that.
And they both have the exact same skeletal construction, except one has a ball joint connecting to the waist piece while the other is molded together with the waist piece, which means that its range is severely reduced.
The intention here is that you'll take one body apart and reassemble it onto the "skeleton" that offers more range. But they could've just made the two skeletons identical with very little (basically no) extra work, and it would mean not having to deal with the hassle of taking the figure apart and reassembling it every time you want a different look. You could just pop it off the waist and voila.

Oh man, that's an excellent point. My next problem will be to see "how much magnet" I will need to keep the plane suspended. I don't into magbets, so I have no idea if I put the magnet in the plane and the metal on the cover or vice versa, or how much of either is needed, or what distance between the two is achievable, it isn't like I am going to be generating superconductor style 7+ tesla. My guess is to have a magnet in the plane rather and reversed polarity stacks of magnets in the cover (and foregoing metal altogether with the attraction being weaker that way)

This is an approximation, magnetic calculations are 2much4me for a basket weaving forum, things like the dimensions of the magnet play a massive role, and when magnets mismatch (i.e. using a massive magnet on o e side and a small magnet on the other) the acurate calculations become more complicated.

Also magnets are unintuitive as fuck, you just have to know the theory and plug in numbers, you can't really have a "feeling" for if one of your calculations is right or wrong unless you work with magnets a ton, and very few people do.

Because they're not canon. Disney canon must be the only canon. But I think the real reasoning is redundancy. They lack creativity so will eventually go through and canonize major characters like they have with Thrawn or the Dark Troopers. Kyle Katarn and his gf was sort of canonized as Kanan and Hera in Rebels (and maybe a little of Cal Kestis too). This will go on as long as Disney keeps making new content. I feel that the figures were alright but were placed in a weird niche group that no one has ever thought of before. 8 inch scale and extremely exaggerated body proportions that I think even exaggerate the anime character designs. If Sigma 6 toys were designed or sculpted similarly to Action Man A.T.O.M then maybe they would've been better remembered. The vehicles are great though not going to lie, a little on the smaller size because I doubt Hasbro would get away with pricing them reasonably at 1/18 scale but I dig the designs. Has my second favorite VAMP (PoC version being the first) and my favorite version of the Dragonfly/hawk, the RoC version is a close second. Also mechs, and what a shame it'll take many years before Classified will ever get around to updating the Sigma 6 mechs.
